Location and Accessibility
Frontier Valley is conveniently situated at 1430 Frontier Valley Dr, Austin, TX 78741, USA. This address places it in Southeast Austin, within the Montopolis neighborhood. This location offers a strategic balance, providing residents with relatively easy access to downtown Austin's employment centers, entertainment options, and cultural attractions, while offering a more affordable cost of living compared to central Austin neighborhoods.
For local Texans, the accessibility of Frontier Valley is a significant advantage. It provides a smooth commute with easy access to major highways like IH-35 and 183, as well as being just a few miles from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA). This proximity is beneficial for those who travel frequently or work at the airport or in surrounding industrial areas, including significant employers like the Tesla Gigafactory and Oracle Headquarters, both within a reasonable drive.
While some reviews mention the neighborhood as having a "high crime" perception, it's important to note that many residents within the park commend its safety and management. The perception of a wider area can sometimes differ from the reality within a specific, managed community. Public transportation options are available in the broader Montopolis area, with bus stops accessible for connecting residents to other parts of the city, contributing to its overall walkability and transit score, though a car is generally needed for full convenience in this part of Austin.
Furthermore, the location provides access to various local amenities. There are grocery stores, shopping centers like Montopolis Plaza, and several parks and recreation areas, including Montopolis Park and Riverside Golf Course, all within a few miles. This blend of urban access and nearby conveniences makes Frontier Valley a practical choice for those seeking to balance affordability with Austin living.

Mobile home parks, particularly those focused on long-term residency and lot rentals, typically do not offer short-term promotions in the same way RV parks or apartment complexes might. However, interested Texans should always inquire directly with the park management about potential incentives, which could include:
- Move-In Incentives: Occasionally, parks might offer reduced security deposits or a discount on the first month's lot rent for new residents, especially during certain periods.

For Texans prioritizing budget-friendly housing with a sense of community and convenient access to all that Austin has to offer, Frontier Valley can be a practical and sustainable choice for long-term residency.
Customer Reviews
Very well managed lower income mobile home park. Clean. Well kept. Good manager!
Sort of Affordable but lacks services. Garbage piles up at dumpsters. Swimming pool wasn't open this Summer. New owner closed laundry mat. Office only open couple of hours a day. No full time staff. No security in a high crime neighborhood. Rents raised several times in the last couple of years. Becoming less and less affordable.
Well not much has changed over there still ghetto but I grew up ghetto so I'm used to it. I really hate all these new people moving here from other states then complain about how it is here.
I manage a different park Delwin, but likely the reason the pool stays closed is because of rocks and mud balls being thrown in. It is a shame, but a few kids that use it can mess it up for everyone else. If the chemicals can't easily stay balanced, then it is easier to keep pool closed. Unfortunately, if there are vandals that throw stuff in it can be hard to catch them. We filled our pool up because of this reason. The balance has to be maintained daily for it to be open.
I grew up here! I jus love this neighborhood. My mom jus moved back to and hopefully my niece will be able to experience that great childhood i had.
